Project summary
The project assessed and digitised the coastal sites of Kilwa Kisiwani and Bagamoyo in Tanzania, in order to better preparing it for future rising sea levels, as well as documenting intangible heritage associated with these sites.
Activities also included training in drone use and photogrammetry as well as development of a smart phone app for use by the local community to record information about the heritage.
