Project summary
This project built local capacity to restore the traditional houses of Beirut that have suffered extensive damage due to conflict, post-conflict reconstruction and the recent explosion in the Port of Beirut. The project carried out restoration work, provided training to local people on traditional craftsmanship and created a toolkit to support future heritage protection of the beautiful Old City of Beirut.
