Project summary
This project aimed to rescue, restore, and revive the intangible cultural heritage of Syria by preserving, documenting and sharing stories and cultural memories of Syria and its people.
Due to the ongoing conflict and the millions of displaced Syrians, the intangible heritage of Syria is severely at risk. The project created a web series, animated films and a book of Syrian folk stories which were shared publicly to raise awareness of and protect valuable Syrian heritage.
