Project summary
Working with local partner organisations in Tripoli and Saida, the project team renovated significant sections of the historic core of each city.
This work focused on historic buildings that are in use for residential purposes and renovated the exteriors and facades of each.
Historic buildings in the old towns of each city were mapped to create a database, which was handed over to the local municipality as part of training in heritage maintenance.
