Project summary:

The 19th century Dar Jacir house in Bethlehem and its rare archival collection are at risk from ongoing conflict and climate-related changes.

This project will complete repairs to protect the building against further damage and provide access to new areas for collections to be displayed.

The creation of a professional standard archive room will also support a training programme to enable the digitisation and preservation of records dating back to the late Ottoman period for the benefit of local communities and global audiences.
